Screenlit Media at Whistler Film Festival: Expanding Our Global Network
Screenlit Media at Whistler Film Festival: Expanding Our Global Network
The Whistler Film Festival 2025 was more than just a celebration of incredible films—it was an opportunity for Screenlit Media to expand our reach, connect with international filmmakers, and strengthen our ties to the thriving film industry in Canada.
As Vancouver continues to be a major hub for studio productions, independent films, and emerging voices in cinema, we see immense value in building connections that will directly benefit our clients and the entire Screenlit community. Attending Whistler allowed us to meet with Canadian filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals, fostering relationships that will help bridge the gap between up-and-coming creators and new opportunities.
Our mission has always been to support filmmakers in their journey from education to industry, and expanding our network globally is key to that vision. By establishing stronger ties in Canada, we aim to create more cross-border collaborations, production partnerships, and career-building opportunities for the filmmakers we work with. Whether it’s securing co-productions, exploring funding opportunities, or connecting fresh talent with established industry professionals, our presence at Whistler is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Screenlit.
The festival also provided a chance to screen incredible films, engage in insightful discussions, and discover emerging talent from around the world. We’re excited about the doors that Whistler has opened and look forward to continuing to expand our reach, build meaningful partnerships, and help filmmakers access the global opportunities they deserve.
If you’re a filmmaker looking to break into the industry, connect with the right people, or explore international collaborations, Screenlit is here to help you take that next step. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue growing our network and creating new pathways for emerging voices in film!
